The ACBSP Region 1 Conference Planning Committee invites faculty, researchers, administrators, industry professionals, doctoral students, and education innovators to submit presentation proposals for the 2026 ACBSP Region 1 Conference.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming higher education, creating unprecedented opportunities to enhance teaching, learning, assessment, curriculum design, and student success. This conference provides a collaborative forum for sharing research, innovative practices, emerging technologies, and practical strategies that advance excellence in business education.

We welcome presentations that showcase research findings, classroom innovations, case studies, best practices, institutional initiatives, and emerging trends related to AI and higher education.

Conference Tracks

Presentation proposals are invited in, but are not limited to, the following conference tracks:

1. AI in Business-Enhanced Teaching and Learning

Innovative teaching strategies, AI-assisted instruction, adaptive learning, classroom applications, and active learning.

2. Academic Integrity and Ethical AI Use

Responsible AI, academic honesty, policy development, ethical considerations, plagiarism prevention, and governance.

3. AI Curriculum Innovation

Curriculum redesign, AI literacy, interdisciplinary education, workforce readiness, and integrating AI across business disciplines.

4. Faculty Development in the AI Era

Professional development, faculty readiness, instructional design, AI competencies, and institutional support.

5. Assessment and AI

Assessment redesign, AI-assisted grading, learning analytics, authentic assessment, and measuring student learning outcomes.

6. Student Success and AI Applications

Student engagement, advising, tutoring, retention strategies, accessibility, and personalized learning through AI.

Presentation Formats

Presenters may submit proposals for the following session types:

Individual Presentation

30 minutes

Interactive Workshop

60–90 minutes

Best Practice Showcase

Share effective strategies, tools, and outcomes.

Teaching Innovation Demonstration

Demonstrate classroom approaches, technologies, and techniques.

Roundtable Discussion

Facilitate dialogue around timely topics and shared challenges.

Abstracts should clearly describe the presentation and its value for conference participants. Please ensure your abstract is concise, complete, and aligned with the conference theme.

Proposal Review Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
